A FLAMA system is in-house mechanical engineering: a hinge designed by FLAMA so that the frame fits well, lasts and can be repaired. Each system grows out of the one before.

Modular Repair System
A modular, single-axis, screwed hinge that lets parts be replaced in the workshop instead of throwing the frame away. Stainless steel Torx screws with an anti-friction treatment: the tightening does not work loose. The mechanism stays in plain sight.

Titanium · MRS® compatible
The MRS mechanism built into a pure titanium frame. The hinge is part of the structure: it does not come apart like the MRS, but in return the frame is lighter and stiffer. It shares its axis and spare part with the MRS.

Indexed Position System
Temple length in three fixed positions: 140, 145 and 150 mm. Shares its axis and spare part with MRS® and Ti: the same part repairs all three families.

A system of its own, with titanium hinges and core wires. It has its own mechanism and its own spare part.
