FLAMA at Silmo Paris 2026: new markets and customers who come back
FLAMA Eyewear closes its participation in Silmo Paris 2026, held from 25 to 28 September at Paris Nord Villepinte, with agreements for its representation in northern France, a stronger presence in Italy and its first customers in Ukraine, Morocco and Mexico. For the Valencia-based designer eyewear brand, the fair was also a reunion with the opticians who already trust it.
At Silmo, people came first. At stand H036 in Hall 7 we met again the friends FLAMA has made fair after fair, and we left Paris with new ones. For an independent brand, these relationships are the starting point for everything else: an optician who knows the people behind a brand explains it better to their customers.
France was one of FLAMA's goals for this edition. Silmo is where the commercial agreements for the brand's representation in the north of the country came from, so that French opticians who believe in independent design can be supported closely. The first French opticians who ordered at the fair are already working with FLAMA.
In Italy, Silmo confirmed that FLAMA has found its place. The best independent Italian opticians we work with came back to see us at the stand and reordered, the clearest sign that the collection works in their window. FLAMA also opened directly with independent opticians in southern Italy, an area we had worked little until now.
Beyond France and Italy, the fair opened new markets for FLAMA: Ukraine, Morocco and Mexico. And our customer in Poland trusted us again with a new order. That such different opticians find their place in the same collection says a lot about a proposal that does not depend on a single market.
Silmo Paris 2026 was also a showcase for what is coming. FLAMA presented two new systems as prototypes: IPS, a hinge with an adjustable temple that lets the frame be fitted to each customer's size without heat, and PBS, which reinterprets the traditional barrel hinge in titanium. The response was so clear that several opticians reserved IPS from the prototype itself, and the system is already in production.
Alongside the prototypes, opticians discovered FLAMA's new titanium collection, which builds the MRS system into the titanium frame itself: the hinge is not added to the frame, it is part of it, and it can be repaired piece by piece at the optician's.
For FLAMA, Silmo Paris 2026 confirms the path: growing alongside independent opticians who choose their brands with care, with its own representation in each market and with frames designed to last. Thank you to all the opticians, agents and friends who visited the stand. The next stop is MIDO, in Milan, from 6 to 8 February 2027.
