FLAME IN POLEMO, MADRID: DESIGN IN A STATE OF FIRE

by Flama Eyewear

Madrid doesn't forgive superficiality. Those who show up with pretense leave empty-handed. That's why, when we decided to bring Flama to Polemo , we went all in: clinical design, brutalist concept, modular heritage, and honest discourse.
Nothing to prove. Everything to share.

Polemo is more than a showroom: it's a shrine to brands that do things right. There, they don't improvise. They think. They build. And we went with a carefully curated selection from our FLM range, accompanied by 3D models, tools, individual parts, and a setup that laid the product bare. There were no neon lights, no mirrored slogans. Just truth: materials, weight, engineering, intention.

The unsung star was the FLM Hinge system: our single-axis hinge, designed to last a decade and ready to be repaired. People didn't just try on glasses; they understood how they're made. And why that matters.

One of the most powerful moments was when a designer told us:
"Finally, someone who makes glasses as if they were architecture."
And yes. We take it as a compliment. Because Flama is that: structure, vision, mechanical language with a cultural soul.

At Polemo, we did something more valuable than just sell: we connected with a community that also thinks long-term. A community that understands that design isn't shouted, it's sustained.

And that's what we did.
Keep the fire going.
